Kristen
A curly hair expert, Kristen is an artist when it comes to curls, cuts, and color. Kristen began her curl journey in 2007, when she took her first Deva class and discovered a passion for working with curly hair. She became Deva certified and continued to take multiple classes over the years before her passion for creating gorgeous curly hair styles led her to other brands of curl focused education, becoming certified with Curly Hair Artistry and studying with Innersense Organic Beauty. In 2021 she became certified in Rëzocuts level 1+ Rëzolites and in September of 2022, she completed her advanced Rëzo level 2 hair cutting certification. Kristen also loves working with color and has studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Redken Exchange NYC, Wella Academy, Goldwell and Kenra to name a few.

important! How to arrive for your curly hair appointment
Additional Information
How to get the best possible results during your curly appt:
Rëzo or Deva curly cut with set
- Please arrive with hair that is clean (preferably washed the same day), detangled, and completely dry.
- I prefer no product, but if you really feel you must use something, be sure it is very light. No oils, butters, or anything that feels heavy or greasy to the touch.
- I need to see how your curls “live” in their natural form, so please refrain from putting hair in any clips, buns, braids, twists, or doing anything that will disrupt your curl pattern.
Express cut only - NO set
- Please be sure to arrive with hair that is clean (freshly washed and conditioned) and detangled.
- Style your curls/waves as you normally would (preferably diffused) with light to medium product. Nothing too controlled, sticky or greasy.
- Be sure hair is completely dried, and ready to go.
Express cuts are a quick, 1 hour and 15 minute reshape, so I want to make sure I’m able to give you maximum results in minimum time.
It’s really important that you read these instructions carefully and follow them closely. I really want you to get the absolute best experience possible during your session with me, but this is a team effort. When you do your part, it allows me to give you so much more. And I want you to LOVE your haircut! If you follow these instructions to the T, you will.
